Our chemical stainless steel fume hoods have undergone rigorous testing by SGS and have received approval, ensuring the safety features of our products.
Lab chemical fume hoods are ventilated enclosures designed to protect laboratory workers from hazardous vapors, gases, and particulates. It operates by drawing air inward through the front opening, containing and exhausting harmful substances away from the user. The hood maintains consistent airflow to prevent chemical exposure while allowing safe handling of volatile materials. It features adjustable sashes, interior lighting, and airflow monitors. Constructed with chemical-resistant materials, it serves as primary protection during experiments involving toxic, flammable, or noxious substances, while also providing physical containment for accidental spills or reactions.
Made of 304 stainless steel sheet, known for its exceptional chemical resistance and suitability for clean room environments.
Window Features:
1. Equipped with a single 5mm thick tempered safety glass panel in a PP frame, capable of sliding horizontally and vertically within the frame.
2. Frame is balanced for smooth elevation and lateral movement, allowing for easy positioning at any desired height.
3. Aluminum alloy handle along the glass edge provides chemical resistance and durability.
Exterior Design:
Constructed from 1.0/1.2 mm thick stainless steel, folded, welded, polished, acid cleaned, phosphoresced, and coated with electrostatic, corrosion-resistant spray paint that is oven dried.
Interior Components:
Utilizes 304/316 stainless steel or 5mm thick compact panels on the sides with air flow guides at the top to protect the walls and aid in air discharge. Features a modular construction that can be easily disassembled for cleaning and reassembled. Resistant to acids, alkalis, moisture, and high temperatures.
Lab accessories:
1. Yellow brass, epoxy resin coated water control valve and cock.
2. Yellow brass, epoxy coated gas control valve and cock. The gas valve is with safety function to avoid air leakage, it will not be unintentionally turned on unless you press it.
Control panel:
LCD control panel which is capable of controlling ON/OFF of fume hood, lamp and fan. Shutdown time can be set in advance. We can furnish control panel imported from France which can show face velocity, make alarm etc.
Storage Cupboard:
1. 3 or 4 double walled doors made of 1.2 mm thick stainless steel and spray painted as specified above.
2. Stainless steel handles and S.S hydraulic hinges.
3. PP United Cup, resistant to acids, alkali and organic impregnations.
Face velocity:
It's 0.4-0.6m/s when we open the sash at 24''. (when the sash is fully opened).
